Job description Support Worker - Residential Services, Tipperary Location: Tipperary Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time (Permanent) Service Type: Residential ServicesWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our residential care team in Tipperary. This role involves supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a warm, homely, and person-centred environment.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while being part of a professional and supportive team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support with personal care, life skills, and community activitiesPromote independence, dignity, and overall quality of life for residentsAssist in the implementation of Person-Centred PlansWork collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet residents' needsEssential RequirementsQQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalentMinimum 6 months' experience in a care setting (experience in disability services preferred)Full, clean Irish/EU driving licenceFlexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and night dutiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsShifts & Hours1 x Full-Time Permanent Position - 70 hours per fortnight, rolling roster (mix of evening shifts, weekend day shifts, and weekday night duty)1 x Full-Time Permanent Position - hours per fortnight, rolling roster (mix of evening shifts, weekend day shifts, and weekday night duty)1 x Full-Time Permanent Position - 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)Additional relief shifts available if desired. No overnight sleepovers.This role is perfect for individuals seeking either a stable full-time position or flexible hours within a rewarding care environment.
