Job description Support Worker - Residential Services, TipperaryLocation: Tipperary Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent Service Type: Residential ServicesWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our residential care team in Tipperary. This role involves supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a warm, homely, and person-centred environment.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while being part of a professional and supportive team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day support with personal care, life skills, and community activitiesPromote independence, dignity, and overall quality of life for residentsAssist in the implementation of Person-Centred PlansWork collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet residents' needsEssential RequirementsQQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalentMinimum 6 months' experience in a care setting (experience in disability services preferred)Full, clean Irish/EU driving licenceFlexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and nightsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsShifts & HoursWe offer an attractive 4-week rolling roster, rotating with another staff member:Week 1: 35 hoursWeek 2: 32 hoursAverage: 33 hours per week on a permanent contractShifts include a mix of days, evenings, and some nights (minimal night shifts over the 4-week cycle)2 Sunday shifts per month, paid at double timeAdditional relief hours available across all residential settings if desiredNo overnight sleepoversThis role is perfect for someone seeking a stable permanent position with flexible and rewarding work in a supportive care environment.To Apply:
