You'll focus on detecting, investigating, and responding to threats across internal systems, networks, and endpoints. The role combines hands-on analysis with ongoing improvement of detection rules and reporting, giving you exposure to real-world attack scenarios and threat intelligence.The RoleMonitor SOC alerts and perform in-depth investigation and triage of security events.Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in tracking remediation across the IT estate.Support incident response, including log review, forensic investigation, and reporting.Contribute to threat intelligence analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.Assist in the development and tuning of detection rules for SIEM and EDR platforms.Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, response actions, and repeatable processes.Collaborate with IT teams to support security controls and risk mitigation efforts.Participate in periodic internal security exercises and reporting to improve security posture.Skills & Experience2+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity monitoring or analyst roles.Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.Experience using SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, or other security monitoring tools.Understanding of common attack techniques, threat actor TTPs, and risk assessment.Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, eJPT, or CEH are helpful but not required.Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
