Midlands Occupational Health Service based in Tullamore, Co-Offaly. Location Grade Staff Nurse Experience Be registered in the general division of the live Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board Ireland. Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Have certification of an approved Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Course within the last two years Irish Heart Foundation (IHF)). Have evidence of Initial National Anaphylaxis Education Programme for Health Care Professionals accessible onfollowed by a two hour classroom based skills workshop. Recertification is required every two years by completing the on-line National Anaphylaxis Education Programme for Health Care Professionals accessible on Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team in a busy Occupational Health department. Good IT skills/Administrative knowledge. Phlebotomy and Vaccination administration competency essential for this role Basic knowledge of health screening, surveillance and Pre Employment medicals desirable. Manage Occupational Health records in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Practice in line with the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for Registered Nurses 2025, NMBI.
