Job description Position SummaryOur client is seeking an Operations Project Manager to play a key role in delivering our global Transformation Towards Operational Excellence (TTOE) initiative. This strategic program focuses on implementing a unified ERP platform (IFS Cloud) and harmonizing global processes across all Data Centers Technology regions. As a high-priority transformation effort, the initiative is essential to driving operational efficiency, consistency, and sustainable growth across the global organization.The TTOE initiative is designed to address critical business challenges and unlock untapped potential by establishing harmonized, connected, and efficient end-to-end process flows. It also builds the foundation for future advancements in digitalization and data analytics, positioning the client for long-term operational excellence.In this role, the Operations Project Manager will lead and coordinate operations and supply chain management workstreams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality project outcomes on time and within scope. The role requires close collaboration with super users, local process owners, and application specialists, fostering cross-functional alignment across regions. Serving as an escalation point for project-related issues, the Operations Project Manager ensures challenges are effectively managed and appropriate support is provided when needed.Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of functionality, process developments, and future business requirements, while acting as a change ambassador to drive awareness, adoption, and sustainable transformation.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate brings a structured and strategic approach, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional transformation projects involving multiple global stakeholders.Experience in large-scale ERP implementations and global process harmonization is essential, with direct experience in IFS Cloud seen as a strong advantage. A background in operations and supply chain management will enable the candidate to understand, design, and optimize end-to-end business processes.The successful candidate will be a confident change leader, capable of guiding teams through transformation and fostering collaboration without relying solely on formal authority. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical to building trust, aligning stakeholders, and driving collective success across regions.The role will require approximately 30% of travel. QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.Advanced certifications such as PgMP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably leading large-scale transformation initiatives in complex, global environments.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable outcomes in high-impact projects.Extensive hands-on experience with ERP platforms (preferably IFS Cloud), including implementation, optimization, and integration across business functions.Strong understanding of operations and supply chain management processes and best practices.Demonstrated ability to bridge business needs and technical functionality to ensure ERP solutions support end-to-end business processes.Core ResponsibilitiesPlanning & CoordinationDevelop and maintain detailed sub-project plans aligned with the overall transformation program.Coordinate workstream activities, ensuring interdependencies are clearly managed.Report progress, risks, and issues to program management on a regular basis.Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for stakeholders within the assigned workstream.Ensure stakeholder needs and priorities are captured, validated, and reflected in solution design and implementation.Scope & Requirements ManagementSupport the gathering and validation of requirements within the workstream.Define and control workstream scope throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate with super users, process owners, and application specialists to translate business requirements into practical system functionality.Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and manage risks and issues affecting the workstream.Escalate critical risks that may impact project scope, timeline, or budget.Develop and execute mitigation and contingency plans in collaboration with project management.Resource OversightMonitor resource allocation and utilization across the workstream.Coordinate changes in project resources as required.Testing & Quality AssuranceSupport the planning and execution of testing activities throughout project phases.Ensure test cases reflect real-world business scenarios.Coordinate defect resolution and retesting efforts.Change ManagementAct as a change ambassador, promoting awareness, engagement, and adoption of new processes and tools.Support communication, training, and transition activities to ensure long-term success of the transformation.Skills & AttributesStrong planning, coordination, and execution capabilities.Skilled in scope, timeline, and resource management.Effective leader able to influence without formal authority.Experienced in facilitating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder sessions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Collaborative, analytical, and structured approach to problem-solving.
