Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Data Center Office Location: DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office Based / HybridPay: €70k - €90k depending on experienceExperience: 8+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading multi-disciplined engineering consultancy providing design, fire safety and technical services to a range of sectors including; Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Residential, Government & Commercial build.Checking and reviewing plans and calculations for Mechanical Services systems prepared by Junior EngineersMaintain records and files of all completed engineering workSupervision of Junior engineering design staffManage project workflow programManaging of project stakeholdersAttendance and recording of any project specific/design meetingManagement of on-site contractorsCompletion of Site surveys and reportsProvide engineering support to Resident Engineers and senior design staffSupport ad-hoc activities assigned by senior staff from time to timeYou will be exposed to all stages of the design and construction process You will be part of an innovative, cutting - edge engineering teamStrong potential for career advancementProvision of ongoing training/CPDJob RequirementsCandidate must possess a degree in Building services Engineering or equivalentMinimum of 8 years relevant experienceGood IT skills and familiarity with industry specific software (AutoCAD/REVIT etc.)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAn eye for detailStrong Communication skillsExcellent people and time management skillsThe ability to work well as a team and on your ownPackage€70k - €90k DOE, contract rates also available 21 days annual leave per annumCompany provided smart phoneCompany provided laptopCorporate branded PPEMembership of relevant industry institutes/professional bodies
