Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client, a large GP practice located close to Cork city is recruiting an experienced Practice Nurse to join their practice. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care within a busy GP practice setting. The GP practice offers an array of services including General Practice: Routine consultations, chronic disease management (diabetes, heart disease, asthma).Women’s Health: Pregnancy care, contraception, fertility advice, Mirena coil insertion/removal.Men’s Health: Health screening, prostate checks, STI screening.Children’s Health: Immunisations, health checks, varicella vaccine.Minor Surgery: Cryotherapy, joint injections, abscess drainage, Implanon insertion/removal.Occupational Health: Pre-employment medicals, drug & alcohol testing, spirometry.Vaccinations: Flu, pneumococcal, Covid-19, childhood immunisations. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practice.Conduct health assessments, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, asthma), and preventative care.Administer vaccinations, wound care, and phlebotomy.Support patient education and promote health and wellbeing.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards. Requirements Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMBI registration.Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care setting preferred.Completed colposcopy & phlebotomy coursesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
