Forklift Operative

Key Responsibilities: Operate counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move materials safely. Assist in manufacturing and processing tasks as required. Handle lead and metal products with care and in accordance with health & safety regulations. Carry out general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and order preparation. Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times. Carry out routine maintenance checks on equipment where necessary. Support other departments and team members as needed. Adhere strictly to company health and safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials. Requirements: Valid Counterbalance Forklift License. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, ideally in heavy industry. Strong awareness of health and safety procedures. Comfortable working with metal and lead materials (PPE provided). Good level of physical fitness – manual handling involved. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Desirable (but not essential): Manual Handling Certificate Experience working with hazardous or heavy materials Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Stable, full-time hours (39 hours per week) Ongoing training and support If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
