Oliver James is working with a leading fund services provider to recruit a FATCA/CRS Consultant for a 6-month project. This is a unique opportunity to support a growing AML function and gain hands-on experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.This consultancy role is focused on Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) obligations. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure client compliance with international tax regulations.Key Responsibilities:Conduct first-line reviews of FATCA and CRS formsDraft client risk assessments, memos, and exception reportsInvestigate trigger events and escalate where appropriateEnsure adherence to internal AML policies and proceduresCollaborate with onboarding teams to ensure due diligence obligations are metLiaise with clients, MLRO, and internal/external stakeholdersAssist with completion of team tasks to meet KPIs and project deadlinesEssential Requirements:Proven experience reviewing FATCA/CRS forms and identifying gapsStrong understanding of FATCA/CRS compliance in relation to AML/KYCAbility to validate Tax Identification Numbers (TINs) and GIINsExperience updating systems with FATCA/CRS dataComfortable engaging with investors to obtain required documentationExcellent analytical and organisational skillsStrong initiative, communication, and attention to detailThis project offers an excellent platform for a compliance professional to work on a high-impact regulatory initiative in a fast-paced environment, with training provided on internal processes and systems.If you are interested in this opportunity, please click the apply button.
