Quantity Surveyor - PQS Consultancy - DublinOffice/Project Location: Dublin City, DublinEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office Based with sites visitsPay: €55K-80KExperience: 4+yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a Chartered Quantity Surveying practice, delivering strong, innovative and honest project and cost management solutions on construction and civil engineering projects across all sections in Ireland, UK and Europe.They are seeking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years experience working with a consultancy to join the team in Dublin Pre-contract cost control and advise to Design Teams & ClientsPre-contract document preparationAll post contract functions including; interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, final account reconciliationsResponsibility for training and development of assistant and junior Quantity Surveyors as part of team structureThe key duties will include but are not limited to the following:Estimating & Cost Planning – reporting directly to ClientsPreparing Bills of Quantities, Buildsoft & CubitCompiling Contract DocumentationPreparing Cost ReportsPreparing Monthly ValuationsPreparation and Agreement of Final AccountsReview and Resolve Contractual ClaimsAttend Meetings with Clients and Design Team MembersAssist in training and development of assistant and junior surveyorsRequirementsDegree qualified Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years experience working in consultancyThe candidate should be commercially aware and have ambition to progress within the organisation.It will be necessary to have the drive and determination to manage strict budgets to ensure the commercial success of projectsPackage€50K - €65K, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.Based out of the Dublin office with ca2 days per week travel to clients sites in Ireland & EuropePermanent staff role with an excellent career path
