CORPORATE TAX MANAGER

My client, a Galway City based top 10 global professional services with more than 50, colleagues worldwide, seeks to hire a Corporate Tax Manager to join their team. Based in Galway City, reporting to the Tax Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 staff members. You will work within a high-performing tax advisory team, with the opportunity to engage with a diverse portfolio of clients across a variety of industries including technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, and more. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of clients across various sectorsCoordinate service delivery across departments for seamless client supportEnsure timely corporate tax compliance, including payment and return filingProvide strategic tax advice on business structures, transfer pricing, and profit repatriationPlay a key role in integrated client service teams delivering wide-ranging tax advisory workAchieve individual and team financial targets including billing and cash collectionContribute to and lead internal and peer training initiativesSupport business development and marketing efforts at multiple organisational levelsOversee staff development and enhance internal review processes

REQUIREMENTS

AITI-qualified and a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial roleStrong experience in corporate tax compliance and tax consultancy, especially with large corporatesDeep understanding of Irish Tax legislation, case law, and technical commentaryProven ability to manage client relationships and supervise multiple assignmentsExcellent English communication skills—both written and verbalStrong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlinesGrowth mindset and adaptability to evolving tax regulationsHigh level of computer literacy and proficiency in relevant systems
