Job Type: Full-time Roles and Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support childrens physical, emotional, and cognitive development Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and cared for. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, toileting, and nap times while promoting independence. Observe, record, and report on childrens progress and development to parents and supervisors. Promote positive behavior management strategies to encourage social and emotional skills. Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are met at all times. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members. Support play-based learning and help children develop creativity and problem-solving skills. Follow all childcare regulations and the centers policies and procedures. The successful candidate must have What we require : A minimum of QQI Level 5 or 6 in Childcare Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to work with children and parents and support their needs. Ensure a safe , secure and healthy environment . Strong communication skills . 40 hours per wee Hours 40 Job Location Firhouse Qualification Level Minimum QQI/Fetac Level 5
