Financial Reporting Manager

Our client, a renowned E commerce company headquartered in China, is creating the Finance Team in Dublin, Ireland. We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize the financial reporting working procedure, as well as the Financial Accounting and Reporting Policies;
- Act as the primary source of advice for Financial Accounting and Reporting queries.
- Manage the preparation of financial reports on all periodic basis.
- Manage the review of statutory financial statements.
- Drive projects, provide finance guidance and often serve as the first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.
- Supervise and assist in the training and development of the financial reporting team.
Preferred Qualifications:
-English proficiency and basic conversational Chinese proficiency are required.
- 7+ years of finance experience or at least 3 years' experience in financial or regulatory reporting
- Qualified Accountant (AICPA or equivalent)
- E-commerce background, including working in a high-volume payment processing environment
- Excellent understanding of IFRS and US GAAP reporting requirements.
- Experience working in a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Strong intellect and analytical skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced start-up
