Application Support Engineer

Contract | €260/day+ | Dublin

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer for a contract role. We are looking for individuals who combine technical expertise with excellent communication skills to ensure optimal performance and support for critical applications.

Responsibilities:

Provide timely response and resolution to user-reported issues related to applications, ensuring minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and diagnose application-related problems, escalating when necessary. Collaborate with development teams to understand and resolve complex technical issues. Document and maintain accurate records of application configurations, issues, and resolutions. Contribute to the creation and update of knowledge base articles to facilitate efficient issue resolution.

Requirements:

Over 5 years of demonstrated expertise as an Application Support Engineer Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical challenges associated with various applications. Experience working with databases, middleware, and application servers. Knowledgeable in scripting languages and automation tools. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
