An industry-leading team are seeking a contracted SAP ECC Payroll Consultant, to help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of the payroll service delivery within the company. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to delivering innovative and effective payroll solutions that drive measurable results for our clients. This role is an initial 6 months with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

Configure SAP ECC Payroll schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), and wage types to align with business requirements.Ensure accurate integration with SAP HCM modules (Time Management, Personnel Administration, Benefits).Run end-to-end payroll cycles including pre-payroll, payroll run, post-payroll, and period-end closing activities.Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for payroll processes.Troubleshoot payroll run issues, schema logic, or incorrect results in tables such as RT, CRT, and BT.

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with core SAP ECC HCM modules: Personnel Administration, Organisation Management, Time Management, and UK PayrollBroad exposure to additional HCM areas including Personnel Management, Training & Event Management, and Performance ManagementSolid ABAP knowledge with hands-on development experienceExperience integrating SAP ECC HCM with other SAP and third-party systems using SAP CPIInvolved in 4+ full lifecycle SAP implementations or system upgradesParticipated in 2+ support pack roundsSkilled in mentoring and supporting junior team members
