Your new role A detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join the finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions to ensure accurate financial records and smooth financial operations. You will report to the Finance Director, who will support and advise you, bringing you up to speed to ensure you succeed. Debtor & Creditor set up & maintenanceProcessing customer invoices on a daily basisCredit Control: ensuring prompt payment receiptsLiaising with all customers and dealing with any invoice-related issuesProcessing all cash receipts/customer payments and bank lodgementsInput and maintain all vendor invoicesGenerating payment runs and processing payments through online bankingMonthly bank account reconciliationCredit Card reconciliationPreparation of bi-monthly VAT returnsProcessing Vies/IntrastatProcessing monthly journals on systemMaintain multicurrency exchange ratesMaintain accurate filing systemLiaison with auditors and preparation of files for auditorsAttend seminars and classes as requiredPerform other duties as requested by ManagementWhat you'll need to succeed QualificationsAAT AccreditedOther accountancy qualifications or strong experience are an advantage.Key requirementsHave a minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a similar roleBe able to work on your own initiative but also as part of a teamHave good flexibility and adaptability to changing tasksStrong attention to detailCan do attitudeBe able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all timesHave excellent organisational skills to maintain tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.What you'll get in return Competitive PackagePension plan Health InsuranceDental InsuranceLife Cover Additional personal days entitlement annuallySubsidised Training Employee Assistance ProgrammeAnnual onsite Health CheckFull Health and Wellbeing Programme
