About the Role

In this critical role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of a broad range of measurement equipment—supporting product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This is a great fit for an experienced technician who thrives in a regulated environment, enjoys solving technical problems, and is passionate about precision.

Key Responsibilities

Perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on a wide variety of equipment: electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, pressure, and hydro-mechanical.Ensure calibration activities conform to detailed technical specifications, drawings, and internal standards.Set up and execute calibration procedures and sequences, interpreting data and making necessary adjustments.Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble test equipment such as gauges, meters, and other measuring devices.Maintain and document calibration records in compliance with internal procedures and industry standards (e.g., ISO , ANSI/NCSL Z).Support audits and inspections by ensuring timely and accurate documentation.Propose and implement improvements to calibration processes and workflows.Serve as a technical mentor and resource for junior technicians.Participate in small-scale technical projects, developing reports and presenting findings.

Who You Are

A seasoned technician with a strong foundation in calibration and metrology.Able to work independently with minimal supervision, but also a strong collaborator across engineering, quality, and production teams.Someone who values accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all aspects of technical work.A clear communicator with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on calibration/metrology experience in a regulated industry (medical device, biotech, pharma, aerospace, etc.).Strong understanding of testing methods, measurement standards, and industry best practices.Proficiency with calibration equipment and software (e.g., Fluke, Agilent, CMMS systems).Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and SOPs.Vocational or technical education in electronics, instrumentation, engineering technology, or equivalent experience.Certification (e.g., ASQ CCT) is a plus but not required.
