Job description

Our client, a leading company based in Cork is looking for a forklift driver/General Operative.

As a Forklift Driver, you will be required to carry out a variety of duties including

Stacking goods in the correct locations in the yard in a safe mannerLoad various bags of material to trucks which come on site, or take bags to holding areaFollowing stock control instructionsCompiling orders for dispatchLoading and unloading lorriesOperating machineryGeneral maintenance and cleaning of plantEnsure the work area is tidyAny other ad hoc duties

Hours of Work

Mon- Fri( Occasional Saturdays) with overtime needed occasionally at time and a half

Requirements for the successful Forklift Driver:

Must have previous experience of operating a Forklift ( Reach & Counter balance )Have a good appreciation for Health and SafetyGood communication skills and good understanding of EnglishHave a willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a teamPossess a can do attitude
