Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading construction and civil engineering firm on the appointment of a SHEQ Manager for two large-scale projects in Dublin.

Reporting to the Site Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality assurance monitoring across both projects, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal standards.

In your new role:

Support Site Management in ensuring compliance with workplace safety legislation and company protocolsMonitor contractor and subcontractor compliance on-site, conducting audits and inspectionsAssist in reviewing job-specific risk assessments and method statementsIdentify safety concerns and work with site teams to implement practical solutionsMaintain accurate and current health & safety documentationAct as a liaison for internal audits, external regulators, and third-party inspectorsTrack and report on workplace accidents, hazards, and compliance metricsSupport the delivery of safety training, toolbox talks, and site inductionsAssist in planned fire, environmental, and emergency drillsPromote behavioural safety and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesSupport the maintenance of SHEQ systems in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards

What you will need to succeed:

4+ years' experience within a similar senior H&S role - Civil Engineering/ConstructionRelevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, etc)Strong experience with ISO standards and auditing (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)Experience with report writing, organisation or planningIOSH membershipGood communication and people management skillsIT and numeracy skills (MS Office)Full clean driving license

Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):

Environmental or Quality certificationsNEBOSH Diploma
