Your new companyAn organisation is a renewable energy company in the private sector that has recently started up an office in the heart of Dublin 2 is looking for an accounts assistant. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a close-net team for a multinational company, in a sector that is becoming increasingly more needed in today’s day and age. The role would be dealing with offices in Germany, so having a proficiency in German is a clear advantage.Your new roleYour new role will involve the reconciliation of bank statements, accruals, prepayments, tax accounts and other balance sheets. Working closely with third-party providers and overseeing services provided to the requisite levels along with general administrative support. You are expected to be able to communicate well while also being able to work with minimal oversight.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful you will need to have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a busy finance team. An accounting qualification such as ACCA or ATI. Successful candidates will have proficiency in German and English. Advances in Excel and accounting software are a requirement, along with experience in working with multiple currencies. Strong verbal and written communication to interact with service providers and team members as well as strong problem-solving abilities.What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a competitive salary of €50,000 - €60,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
