The Role

Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting consolidation and close Prepare monthly reporting package Manage accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, revenue recognition, taxes, cost accounting Responsible for timely and accurate filing of sales tax returns Develop and maintain financial projections that are consistent with the company’s goals Manage planning, reporting, and analysis for new products and projects Identify and implement metrics to measure business results and success Drive process improvements and system implementations with the finance function

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy/Finance Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in a similar field Desire and ability to thrive in a demanding environment; history of successful prioritising, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong organisational skills Team player with ability to work independently Revenue accounting experience Experience in inventory and cost accounting Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills Excellent financial modelling skills and high level of proficiency on IT software suites
