Key responsibilities of the Anaesthesia/ICU Registrar: Monitor patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Responsible for ICU Ward Rounds Admit ICU patients to theatre if necessary Follow up of post-operative surgical patients Severe decompensation of medical patients Severe pain management Manage patients with fluid management issues ED & Airway management Cardiorespiratory resuscitation Key requirements: Active General IMC registration or in the final process Full MRCS or MRCP or in the process of these professional exams, would help your application MCAI would be a distinct advantage Valid ACLS You will need to have passed either the IELTS or OET exam and hold a valid certificate.
