PHP Tech Lead 180464 Desired skills: PHP, Symfony, APIs, Architecture, CI/CD, Elasticsearch Reperio has partnered with a company seeking a PHP Tech Lead to drive development and technical strategy.Responsibilities:Own the technical direction of a core backend domain, aligned to business prioritiesLead solution design and architecture across distributed backend systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and offshore engineering partnersChampion code quality, scalability, and long-term maintainabilityGuide and mentor engineers through code reviews, solutioning, and best practicesRepresent your domain in cross-team technical planning and discussionsDrive continuous improvement in delivery workflows and technical standardsRequirements:6+ years of backend development experience with PHP 7/82+ years' exposure in a technical lead or domain ownership capacityStrong experience with Symfony or similar modern PHP frameworksDeep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, scalable architecture, and clean coding practicesSkilled in relational database modelling and performance tuning (., MySQL)Familiar with asynchronous processing, messaging queues, and containerised environmentsExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps tooling (Docker, GitLab)Strong grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and architecture best practicesApplicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
