Role: ETL Tester (Contract)

Location: Galway City, Hybrid

Your Experience:

Deep understanding of ETL testing, including source-to-target reconciliation and validation of transformation logic to ensure data integrity.Strong programming ability in Java, Python, or another object-oriented language, with the capability to build custom test automation frameworks as required.Experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases, including advanced SQL skills for data validations.

 The Expertise required:

Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience analysing workflows and identifying opportunities to design and implement test automation.Deep understanding of ETL testing including source-to-target reconciliation and transformation logic validation to ensure data integrity.Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or any object-oriented language with the ability to build custom test automation frameworks as needed.Experience working with Cucumber or another BDD tool for designing clear, maintainable, business-readable test scenarios.Familiarity with ICEDQ or similar data testing platforms is a plus.Experience with Oracle and Snowflake databases, including advanced SQL skills for data validations.Familiarity with JIRA and Xray to ensure traceability and audit compliance.Experience working on CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates in deployment pipelines is a plus.Knowledge of big data technologies, including Apache Spark and EMR, in a distributed data environment is a plus.Experience working within an agile development environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organisation.
