Your new company Your new company is an Irish Mechanical contractor with over 25 years of experience in providing mechanical project support, offering complete turnkey packages that cover design, supply, installation, and commissioning. Your new role In your new position, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of onsite operations and productivity, including company operatives, subcontractors, and all personnel on-site for the project. This is a fast-paced environment, and the person will play a vital part in the smooth-running of our business.Key responsibilities of the role:Manage and drive a proportion of the overall site team to meet all project scope requirements and targets.Maintain a high standard of quality on site, i.e., quality construction and materials installed.Coordinate and plan resources, inclusive of labour, materials, and subcontractors when engaged and required.Ensure adherence to both legislative and company safety and quality standards.Prepare relevant reports in line with company policies and practices.Familiarise yourself with Project Specifications - General and Particular specs.Familiar with Mechanical Schematics and Layout / General Arrangement Drawings.Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on a continuous basis.Report progress throughout the project timeline.Ensure correct PPE is always worn by operatives on site.Keep the workplace tidy and free of excess materials.Plan and execute work in the most productive manner.Comply with site instructions regarding the formulation and implementation of RAMS - SPAs etc. What you need to succeed Completed all Phases 1-7 of SOLAS Apprenticeship - FETAC Level 6.Successful in Senior Trades exams.At least 2 years post Senior Trades qualification working as a Foreman.Strong communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.Strong Mechanical Experience working with a Mechanical contractor.Ideally, the Mechanical Foreman will possess experience within the following sectors: pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor, clean room, labs, hospitals, data centres, etc.Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.Ability to form part of the management team on a large-scale project. Pay Range and Compensation Package: You will be paid at a competitive hourly rate between €30 to €40 per hour. These are typically paid for 40 hours per week, and you will be paid for any overtime hours worked. This comes out to approximately 60k to 80k when converted to an annual salary.This is open to PAYE and self-employed workers.It's a great time to join their expanding organisation as you will have great exposure to multi-million-euro projects and grow within to progress to more senior roles.#LI-DNI #1121955 - Sean O'Connor
