Structural Design Lead - W/WTW / Bridges - Dublin / Galway / Cork / CastlebarOffice/Project Location: Dublin / Galway / Cork / CastlebarEmployment Type: PermanentWork Location:  Office Based / HybridPay: €85k - €95kExperience: 10+ yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is an Irish award winning civil, structural and environmental engineering consultancy, with offices in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Mayo.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the operational and commercial performance of the team, and reporting on same to Director/MD level.Lead and manage a team of structural engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, mentoring and professional development.Oversee the design deliverables, ensuring ongoing high-quality standards are maintained.Managing the interaction between project team members, clients, stakeholders andexternal subconsultants.Managing the team resources, delegating activities and monitoring project budgets.Interaction with the Project Leads in other sectors or disciplines within the company,to ensure works are delivered as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Recruitment for a growing team.Client Relationship Management.Business development including tender and bid management.RequirementsRelevant third level degree in engineering (Level 8 or higher).Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent.At least 15 years’ experience in structural engineering, with a strong technical background.Strong commercial awareness.Must be able to work well under pressure and have a proven track record of meeting deliverable deadlines to client satisfaction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Have an ability to lead, manage and coach a growing team.Possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.PackageSalary €85k - €95kFull time Permanent Position.
