DevOps Engineer 198199 Desired skills: Devops Engineer, Contract, Infrastructure DevOps Engineer Location: ROI (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote) Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)Role Overview My client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the delivery, automation, and optimisation of cloud-based platforms. You will work across engineering, operations, and security teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, improve reliability, and ensure scalable, resilient infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelinesManage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automate provisioningImplement monitoring, alerting, and performance optimisationSupport containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Drive infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development and release processesTroubleshoot production issues and improve system reliabilityKey RequirementsProven experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environmentsHands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestrationSolid skills in Terraform or similar IaC toolsStrong scripting experience (Python, Bash, or equivalent)Knowledge of security best practices and monitoring toolsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAdditional Information Immediate interviews and quick start available.
