This role is well-suited to someone with strong hands-on scanning experience who wants to take ownership of day-to-day detection activities while contributing to wider improvements across tooling, processes and data quality.You'll work closely with engineering, cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure that scanning routines run smoothly, results are reliable, and gaps are identified early. The role offers the chance to work in a mature, well-resourced environment while still having plenty of scope to influence detection standards and operational workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesRun, tune and oversee vulnerability scanning across a broad technical environment.Review scan output, validate findings, and support response teams during investigation.Help improve scanning reliability, performance and coverage through ongoing uplift initiatives.Participate in evaluating new scanning approaches and assisting with proof-of-concept testing.Identify detection issues or gaps and collaborate with technical teams to implement fixes.Liaise with tool vendors and internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery.Track operational issues and support reporting on routine scanning activities.What You'll NeedPractical experience with leading vulnerability scanning tools (., Tenable, Qualys), including modifying or tuning scan profiles.Good understanding of vulnerability management concepts and terminology.Experience linking scanning tools to workflow systems (ServiceNow would be highly beneficial).Solid communication skills and ability to work with engineering teams on remediation actions.Nice to have: scripting familiarity (Python, PowerShell, Bash), cloud scanning knowledge, or OS-level admin exposure.If this sounds like a good match for your experience, reach out to Daniel at Reperio for more details.Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
