User Access Management Specialist / SME
User Access Management (UAM) & Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Dublin based hybrid Contract

 
 
Job Summary:
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) for User Access Management (UAM), will be a critical member of the PM & Tech team. This role will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise, operational support, release and upgrade management, and strategic guidance for our client's organization's Saviynt platform and related UAM processes. The SME will act as a key resource for troubleshooting, implementing enhancements, and ensuring the effective and secure management of user access across the enterprise.
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
 Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
 
Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with an IAM platform preferably Saviynt but similar e.g.: Sailpoint, OKTA is requiredProven experience in configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting IAM systems (Preferably Saviynt)Demonstrated experience managing IAM platform upgrades and releasesExperience with integrating IAM platforms with various target systems (e.g., Active Directory, cloud applications, databases)Experience with access certifications, access requests, role management, and custom workflow rule & policy designAbility to design, implement, and manage RBAC policies

 
Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of IAM concepts and principlesProficiency in IAM configuration and administrationKnowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plusAPI security knowledge including OAuth & OpenID connectUnderstanding of database and middleware concepts such as SQL and RHELFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud IAMFamiliarity with REST APIs and JSON for data exchange


Preferred Qualifications:

Saviynt certifications ideallyExperience with other IAM tools and technologiesKnowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO )

 
Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to document processes clearly and concisely
