RTR Team Member - Fixed Term Contract (12 months)Location: Cork, IrelandRole PurposeEnsure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of all transactions in the General Accounting team in accordance with internal and external accounting guidelines for the Shared Service Centre (SSC).Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and analyse financial data related to the General Accounting (GA) system.Create and post GL journals as appropriate.Perform month-end US GAAP reporting.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.Review P&L for accuracy and cost centre reporting.Review bank reconciliations as appropriate.Work with large volumes of data and perform analysis.Manage and generate manual recharges.Prepare quarterly and ad hoc corporate schedules.Fully manage BS accounts, including reconciliations and monitoring.Prepare Annual Operating Plan and manage budgets throughout the year.Liaise with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable to resolve issues.Produce statutory audit files and financial statements for EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring robust reconciliations between US GAAP and Local GAAP, and maintain strong relationships with auditors.Manage intercompany balances and resolve differences in a timely manner.Ensure intercompany transactions are supported by agreements.Support execution of tax computations in line with ASC for US GAAP and local tax returns.Ensure timely completion of internal audits.Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements across the SSC.Deliver excellent customer service to business unit finance staff.Build strong professional relationships within the SSC and with the outsourced Accenture team.Participate in SSC projects and corporate balance sheet reviews.Contribute to achieving service level performance targets.Qualifications – EssentialQualified AccountantUS GAAP experienceStatutory accounts & audit experienceSarbanes-Oxley experienceERP systems experienceProven track record in business partnershipHigh-volume reconciliation experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong knowledge of GA processes and proceduresStrong analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelGood attendance and timekeeping recordTechnically competentFluent in EnglishQualifications – DesirableExperience in a culturally diverse working environmentFluency in an additional major European languageShared Service Centre exposureAdvanced Excel, including MacrosAPPLY NOW#CplCorkFin#LI-MB3
