Cpl Healthcare is excited to announce we have partnered up with a client who provides day, residential and respite community-based services using a person centres approach to meet the needs of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

We are currently accepting CVs from experienced Social Care Professionals who wish to work as a Manager in a Children's Respite Services in Sligo.

This role is a full-time permanent position of 39 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have:

Minimum Level 7 degree in Social Care or Health Sector e.g. Social Care qualification and current registration or eligibility to register with CORUAppropriate registration in Health and Social Care Management (QQI Level 6) is a necessary requirement of the post.A minimum of 3 years of management experience is essential Experience as a leader with strong operational and general management competencyDemonstrate a clear commitment to community integration and active citizenship for all people with disabilities with experience in the area of human rights and advocacy.Experience of working in the area of autism and behaviours of concern would be an advantagePrevious experience of effectively managing a staff team and demonstrating proven ability to pro-actively lead, motivate, empower and achieve results through people is an advantageProficiency in computer skills and on-line data management systems is also essential.A full clean driving license with access to own transport.Practical working knowledge and experience of working within the Health Act and subsequent HIQA regulations and Standards is highly desirable.Functional Knowledge of New Directions Interim Standards.The successful candidates must be flexible and dynamic individuals who can relate to people in a range of situations
