Clare Tourism Development DAC Clare Tourism Development DAC is a subsidiary company of Clare County Council that will oversee the management, development, and promotion of a portfolio of signature visitor attractions and sites throughout Clare.
Clare Tourism is developing these visitor attraction sites and is now seeking to hire an experienced professional with substantial skills in Sales and Marketing, and Digital Marketing campaigns.

The Position The position of Digital Marketing Executive is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in playing a significant role within Clare Tourism.
We are inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for this competition.
It is proposed to form a panel of qualified candidates to fill the vacancy of Digital Marketing Executive on a full-time permanent contract.

The position of Digital Marketing Executive is an exciting opportunity to work with the Sales and Marketing Team for Clare Tourism West and Northwest to execute the digital marketing strategy and vision within Cliffs of Moher Experience and other Clare Tourism visitor attractions to develop these iconic visitor attractions' brand values.

The successful applicant will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager for Clare Tourism West and Northwest and provide Digital Marketing support for Clare Tourism.

The mission of Clare Tourism includes the provision of a world-class visitor experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities The main duties of the Digital Marketing Executive include:
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager and team to define the digital marketing strategy and vision for all attractions, ensuring that brand values are consistently delivered across all digital touchpoints.
Ensure the digital marketing strategy connects online and offline marketing activities.
Contribute to the digital transformation plan for all West and Northwest Clare attractions, focusing on integrated distribution for ticketing.
Track, analyze and report on web analytics (e.g., traffic, revenue, conversion rates, cost per acquisition) making necessary adjustments to optimize campaigns in real-time based on learnings.
Build campaigns across social and web channels which will include paid advertisement using social ads.
Work with a digital marketing company to identify, track and report on SEO performance.
Drive increased traffic through content marketing, SEO, referral traffic and building site authority through link building.
Create and maintain a social media schedule, including post copy, messaging, audience targeting, hashtag usage, content requirements, and advertising specifics.
Gather content onsite at various attractions, engaging with videographers and photographers to create compelling visuals.
Develop an editorial calendar aimed at building advocacy for the attractions through storytelling.
Source and collaborate with social media influencers to expand brand reach.
Liaise with external organizations and internal departments to gather new content to be added online and ensure that all content added is presented in an interesting and appealing manner.
Moderate and audit website content to ensure accuracy and relevancy, including sourcing and editing images and videos.
Monitor and report on competitor digital activity and best practice.
Liaise with online partners including digital marketing agencies and online travel agents.
Create content and outreach strategies to increase online PR and peer-to-peer advocacy on high authority websites.
Deliver on ambitious growth targets for CRM database driving acquisition, open rates & click-through rates through compelling, timely & relevant content.
Understand behavioral trends and new content formats & social media platforms to drive brand awareness & consideration.
Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, trade suppliers, and partner organizations.
Assist in delivering on the terms of the wider promotional remit of Clare Tourism West and Northwest portfolio of visitor experiences including liaising with local stakeholders attending events and shows promoting County Clare, copy in promotional materials, online promotion of County Clare on all social media platforms.
Source digital advertising opportunities and placing adverts – local, regional, national, international, and specialist publications.
Help provide input into strategic planning, budgeting, marketing, financial management & operational management as requested by the marketing function.
Participate in outreach activities to support Clare County Council associated tourist attractions and services as required.
Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by Management.
Requirements/Essential Skills and Attributes Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role and ideally in tourism or brand business.
Fully proficient in Google Analytics & other online analytic tools.
Comfortable with data analytics and analyzing conversion rates.
Experience in marketing, digital marketing, and copywriting.
Experienced in video and graphics creation tools.
Experienced in running paid campaigns on social media platforms.
Experience with websites that have attracted multiple audiences/demographics.
Excellent communicator and creative thinker.
A thorough knowledge of the Digital Marketing industry.
Have demonstrated creative and strategic thinking ability.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of teamwork & motivational skills and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
PC literate with good keyboard skills, Microsoft Office proficient & familiar with mobile devices.
Experience in the tourism sector, Hospitality or Visitor Attraction Industry desirable.
Additional Information Reporting to Sales and Marketing Manager Clare Tourism West and Northwest.
The post will be operational on seven days a week basis according to the business requirements.
Hours of operation may vary seasonally.
Applicants should have a full, clean driving licence with access to own car and may have to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
The duties will be performed onsite in the Ennistymon Cliffs of Moher Offices, or any other place of business as designated by Management, during operating hours of the visitor experience.
Occasional work offsite may be required.

The Person Qualifications Character: Candidates shall be of good character.
Health: Each candidate must be in an excellent state of health and be prepared to complete a full pre-employment medical.
Education, Training, Experience, etc.
: Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms have: Qualified to degree/diploma level in marketing, digital marketing, or related discipline.
AND
Have a minimum of 3 years satisfactory experience in a Digital Marketing role with demonstrable experience.
Hours of Work 40 hours per week
Annual Leave 21 days with increased entitlement with length of service.

Location Ennistymon Office Co Clare and will include travel to Clare Tourism Visitor attraction sites.

Probation There shall be a period of probation of six months.
