What We're Looking For: To succeed as a Site Reliability Engineer, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Proficient in Windows and Linux server support.
Working knowledge of Ansible and Jenkins.
Expertise in scripting languages.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and ITRS.
Proven experience in Systems Engineering and Deployment.
Strong background in Application Management and Support.
Understanding of software/application lifecycle and security principles.
Familiarity with complex environments and their interactions.
Proficiency in databases and associated query languages.
Hands-on experience with security vulnerability remediation.
Deep understanding of large networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will focus on ensuring the reliability and maintainability of enterprise-wide services developed by the Cyber Security Technology team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with DevOps, Development, and Testing teams to enhance automation and observability.
Improving logging, monitoring, and infrastructure configuration.
Engaging with business stakeholders and technical teams globally.
Utilising your expertise in application management, deployment, and systems engineering.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Leadership qualities that inspire collaboration across teams.
A proactive approach to learning and self-improvement.
