The Sales Support's responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our products and recommending suitable solutions. This role requires promptly resolving customer complaints and ensuring maximum client satisfaction.
To be successful as a Sales Support, staying up-to-date with product features, managing stock levels and inventory within customers' facilities are essential tasks.
We seek an individual who can build rapport and develop long-standing relationships with our customers.
Ultimately, the duties of a Sales Support are to achieve excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales targets.
Sales Support Responsibilities:This service-based role presents new and diverse challenges daily. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer/sales service
- Operating company vehicles to visit customers' locations and Fastenal stores
- Diligently driving sales growth
- Proactively seeking out prospective customers
- Remaining knowledgeable about our products and services
- Business to Business sales of Industrial supplies, PPE equipment, and more
- Managing inventory within customer facilities
- Maintaining warehouse and industrial vending machines
- Receiving goods, picking orders, shipping goods, material handling, cycle counts
- Effective communication with team members
- Contributing ideas on how to enhance sales performance
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- Previous experience in Sales or a related field (Desirable)
- Holding a Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- A strong understanding of sales principles and customer service
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Mathematical accuracy
- Customer-centric approach
- Experience with POS transactions is beneficial
- Possession of a High school diploma/BA/BSc is advantageous
- Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages regularly
