Underwriting Division AIG's underwriters develop insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, and embody AIG's tradition of innovation, bringing to market ground breaking insurance solutions for our changing world.
AIG's underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas, including aviation, environmental, catastrophic events, high net worth individuals, and boardroom liabilities.
Responsible for handling new business and reviewing and renewing existing books of business, underwriters are fundamental in generating revenue for AIG.
Underwriters are tasked with determining the risk of an insured, whether an individual, or company, and appropriately calculating the premium for the requested coverage.

AIG will be recruiting for 3 Underwriting Analysts to join our teams in Financial Lines, Casualty, and Property.
You Will: Underwrite within agreed decision-making standards, limitations, and underwriting authority; Handling mid-term adjustments within agreed authority; Resolving general queries in a timely manner and within agreed authority Maintenance, and the production, of internal reports; Booking and accounts query support; Supporting the Underwriters on more complex and/or non-standard cases within agreed authority; Obtain additional UW information from brokers/clients as may be required on new business or renewal submissions; Producing documentation within company guidelines; Work to improve customer experience working within agreed internal/external Service Level Agreements; Comply with regulatory, risk management, compliance, and audit requirements; Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, claims, Operations.
What we are looking for: AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about and committed to the insurance industry.
The ideal candidates will be bold thinkers with an entrepreneurial bent and will possess a powerful blend of IQ (technical skills, consistent learning, statistical & financial acumen) and EQ (adaptive communication, empathy, listening skills, challenging with humility).

Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a record of successful teamwork.
Qualifications Required: Minimum 2.1 degree classification Pursuant of a bachelor's or master's degree, graduated in 2024 or in 2025.
