Location: Haven House Morning Star Avenue Dublin 7
Work Schedule: Working night shifts rostered dependent on service specific roster.
Contract: Full time permanent
Reporting to: Deputy/Project leader
The Role:Work as part of a team to provide a safe and welcoming environment to residents, staff, volunteers, and visitors in busy emergency and temporary accommodation units.Maintain a high quality, safe and healthy living environment through adherence to safety and security protocols and ensuring the environment is maintained to a high standard at all times.Provide a wide range of supports, interventions, and supervision to residents.Ensure all relevant paperwork and reports are completed and submitted as required to Project leader and assessment worker.Ensure the Pass system and Statistics are updated daily.Ensure all significant events are recorded and the folder is up to date.Minimum Requirements:Minimum Level 6 (or working towards a level 6) on the National Framework of Qualifications in social care/addiction studies/health care/disability.Minimum of 1-year experience working in a residential unit with individuals with complex needs.Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.Clearly demonstrated client focus.Experience in working nights and/or shift work.Other:Experience working in homeless services.Generous annual leave.Additional leave for long service.Training and Development Programmes.Employee Assistance Programme.Digital Doctor Service.Bike to Work Scheme.In Crosscare, we approach our work with an attitude of service, showing love, care, and kindness in all interactions with others.
