Job Description: Job Description Morgan McKinley is supporting and leading Irish business in sourcing a Head of Operational Finance to hold a pivotal role within the overall finance function.

The Head of Operational Finance will take full responsibility for the financial management of the group's operational activities across a number of key areas.
The position will also drive continuous improvement and change across finance with a particular focus on providing financial support for the management of key business areas and capital projects .

Responsibilities Act as a trusted financial advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on all operational accounting matters, directing and overseeing all aspects of the Finance and Accounting operational functions of the Group.
Ensure healthy financial management and lead a strong team to enable delivery of the Group's ambitious strategy.
Work collaboratively with group regulation to ensure all regulatory protocols are embedded within the approach to financial control operations.
Work in partnership with the Group Financial Controller to ensure alignment across areas of responsibility.
Work closely with the group regulation team on all financial issues impacting the various licenses across the Group.
Management of core accounting activities, including taxation requirements and production of financial information.
Manage the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger activities.
Ensure high standards of financial control and reporting for Capital and Projects.
Management of the external financial relationship, project costs, settlement of capital contributions, and financial forecasts.
Qualifications Significant experience of leading finance teams in changing circumstances is essential.
Senior qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferably with experience of operational accounting across multiple jurisdictions.
You will operate to the highest standards of personal integrity, driving a culture of professionalism and cost awareness.
Developed stakeholder management and executive engagement.
