Collections Agent FRS Recruitment Location: Killarney Contract Type: an initial 12-month contract Salary: €30k Working hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm On behalf of our client, who is based in Killarney, we are seeking an experienced Collections Agent.
Our client provides lending and credit services to customers nationwide.
As a Collections Agent you are responsible for contacting customers to recover outstanding balances, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining positive relationships while adhering to company policies.
Responsibilities: Contact debtors via phone, email, or mail to recover overdue payments.
Engage with clients professionally, showing empathy and understanding while assisting with payment difficulties.
Negotiate payment plans that meet both customer and company needs.
Maintain accurate records of communication and account status.
Provide reports on collections progress and outstanding accounts.
Ensure compliance with all debt collection laws and company policies.
Requirements: Experience in collections, customer service, or call centre preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and time management skills Ability to balance collections with empathy and customer support Proficiency with Excel.
Takes responsibility and ownership of completing work to required standard.
Fluent written and spoken English.
