Working with a client base employing over 234,000 people and generating annual exports of nearly €35 billion, Enterprise Ireland plays a pivotal role in the Irish economy.

Enterprise Ireland's comprehensive, client-focused approach includes programmes focused on start-ups, scaling, innovation, management development programmes, direct equity investment, and funding seed and venture capital schemes.

The Opportunity Supported by a team of 850 highly experienced colleagues across offices in Ireland and more than 40 overseas locations, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Enterprise Ireland will play a crucial role in the global success of Irish enterprises.
The CEO will lead the organisation, ensuring Irish enterprises of all sizes become more innovative, competitive, and market-diversified as they face global challenges.

This is an unprecedented opportunity to make a lasting impact on the development and growth of Irish enterprise both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities: Vision and Leadership: Provide strategic vision and leadership to achieve Enterprise Ireland's ambitious goals and lead the implementation of the strategy.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government, industry leaders, and EU institutions to support the development of innovative Irish-owned businesses.
Organisational Leadership and Culture: Foster a diverse, inclusive, and innovative team culture while managing over 850 employees and substantial financial resources.
Support for Client Companies: Inspire the Enterprise Ireland team to deliver on their mission to support companies at all stages of growth from start-up through to large companies.
Leverage Ecosystems: Align the Research and Innovation, Regional Development and Global Markets ecosystems to drive client company scale.
Global Change: Drive the innovation, sustainability, and digitalisation agenda for companies and support companies in achieving scale in global markets.
The Individual Enterprise Ireland are seeking a visionary leader with:
Demonstrated and extensive track record of attainment and achievement at senior leadership level in large, complex public and/or private sector organisations.
Extensive experience of inspiring and leading senior teams and executing strategic ambitions.
Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Irish business and the role of government in supporting and accelerating their success.
Proven ability to take calculated risks and make bold decisions which will propel the organisation forward to achieve successful outcomes.
Strong advocacy and representational skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders in industry or government, both nationally and internationally.
Inspirational communication skills with executive presence, with significant experience in media and public relations engagements.
