Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant – 12 month FTC Reporting to the Finance Manager, the candidate will play a role supporting the finance function in day-to-day activities.The candidate will ensure timely and accurate completion of day, week and month end activities.Support the Finance Manager and Fare Revenue Accountant on day-to-day tasks.Assist in the preparation, interrogation and consolidation of the monthly management accounts.Ensure timely and accurate completion of month end tasks.Bank ReconciliationsContinuous improvement of financial reporting processes.Ensure high-quality and up-to-date procedure documents are maintained.Provide analysis and support to the Finance Manager on any ad hoc projects.Maintain a robust control environment ensuring continuous improvement of processes and escalation of risks and issues to Finance Manager in a timely manner.Coordination with various stakeholders including both finance and non-finance personnel.Key requirements of the Senior Accountant Strong month end experience.Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrate strong attention to detail.The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.About the job Contract Type: FULL_TIME
