We are seeking a reliable and proactive person for a varied role in a busy flooring transport company.
The ideal candidate will be working as part of a team with a wide range of duties including: Loading and unloading rolls of carpet using a counterbalance boom forklift.
Route planning using computer system.
Scheduling deliveries in and out.
Communicating with customers, suppliers and sub contactors via phone and email.
Picking and packing orders.
Maintaining forklifts.
Keep warehouse clean and tidy.
Operating carpet cutting machine.
Occasionally stepping in as a relief van driver.
Any other general warehouse duties.
Working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
No overtime or weekend work.
All relevant training will be carried out on the job.
Skills: Computer skills Excellent communication skills Interpersonal skills Forklift experience and licence Drivers Licence
