Project Accountant My client are looking to hire a skilled Project Accountant to join our finance team on a permanent basis.
The role will play a key role in supporting the company's transformation and project initiatives.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations, this exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute directly to the growth and modernization of our finance function.
Duties: Drive the company's transformation and project agenda by supporting the finance function with key initiatives.
Identify, design, and document enhancements to internal controls, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare detailed reports for the Head of Finance Operations and Finance Director.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Provide valuable support to the wider finance team during peak periods, such as financial and regulatory reporting and the planning process.
Assist with internal and external audits, reviews, and compliance activities.
Contribute to the implementation and optimization of IT solutions within the finance function.
Take on ad-hoc duties and assist with various projects across the finance team as required.
Skills: Fully qualified accountant Prior experience in the financial services or insurance sector is preferred.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable taking initiative.
Strong systems, reporting tools & Excel skills Strong ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results.
A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage with both team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
