My client, a growing Irish Group based in West Dublin, has expanded its operations in recent years, and due to recent growth is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join it's expanding finance team.
You may be working within an accounting firm within an audit/accounting role and be looking for a first move to industry into a varied and hands-on role, or working in a similar role in industry and looking for greater opportunities to progress and to be part of a growing business, There is a competitive salary on offer for the successful candidate.
This location may suit candidates based in Kildare, Dublin West and surrounding counties.
It will be predominantly based on site but with scope to work some days from home.
The Role: Prepare weekly and monthly financial information in line with reporting timeframes.
Balance Sheet / General Ledger reconciliation Monitor and project cash flow & supplier payments Assist with the annual audit of the companys financial statements Support with preparing management accounts Work with non finance stakeholders to resolve any queries and ensure all charges are correct Support in the preparation and filing of Revenue returns Support the Finance division in ad hoc financial and accounting requests The Person: A Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience Ideally will have worked in an accountancy practice during their career, and either be looking for a first move to industry or have already made the move to industry but looking for a role with progression.
Strong experience of generating trial balances & producing management accounts Proficiency in accounting software packages essential Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Ability to multitask Good organisational skills Excellent oral and written communication.
