In this role you will take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
You will lead, motivate and mentor your team and deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home.
You will carry out assessments, develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident, monitor work areas and practices for safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation, and promote residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect while striving for continuous improvement.
The position offers you a chance to lead provision through effective leadership and home management.
You will ensure we have the best people on-site delivering a truly empathic service, championing resident wellbeing, establishing a vision and development plan for the home, and carrying out quality assurance to exceed regulatory standards with kindness as a guiding principle.
Responsibilities
Take responsibility for the well-being of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met.
Lead, motivate and mentor your team; deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure safe, smooth and efficient operation of the care home.
Carry out assessments; develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident.
Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation.
Promote residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect; strive for continuous improvement in care quality.
Provide effective leadership and home management to recruit and retain capable staff; champion empathic service.
Establish a vision and development plan for the home; conduct quality assurance to exceed regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Care home experienced Registered Nurse with current PIN on the NMC register.
Either Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
Strong communication with residents and co-workers; consistently considerate and kind.
Safeguarding awareness with ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and to report concerns; attend safeguarding training and undertake additional training as required.
