The Role
Cubic3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with top-tier Automotive OEM customers and prospective customers.
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the technical aspects of our sales engagement, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall growth of our business.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships, including existing and prospective customers, our partners, and other key stakeholders
Collaborate with the sales team and potential channel partners to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win deals.
Act as the bridge between the sales team and the core Cubic3 business (product, technology, operations, wholesale) to understand customer requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and address solution concerns
Manage and coordinate RFQ/RFI responses and proactive sales engagement outside of RFQ/RFI cycles.
Maintain a high-quality, up-to-date RFQ/RFI response and solution positioning repository including solution sheets and supporting documentation
Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and solution design.
Gather and analyse customer requirements, engage in discovery conversations, and address technical questions, concerns, and objections with solutions
Work with product management, engineering, wholesale and network teams to ensure solutions meet the market\'s needs
Collaborate with solution architects to design technical solutions addressing customer and prospect needs
Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proofs-of-concept, keeping demos and supporting sales material up to date
Provide feedback from customer interactions to shape product roadmaps and contribute to new features or enhancements; act as an influencer for investment and keeping Cubic3 at the cutting edge
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform Product Development and the wider community
Participate in industry events and thought leadership activities, representing Cubic3 and promoting our solutions

Requirements
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a sales engineering role in the Telecommunications, Automotive or IoT industry
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Deep understanding of the Automotive market with a focus on connectivity
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is desirable but not necessary
New hires at Cubic are required to work onsite five days a week during their six-month probation period.
After probation, a flexible arrangement of up to eight work-from-home days per month is available, provided it aligns with business needs and performance standards.
