Clinical SpecialistDietitian 0.8 WTE, Permanent Specialising in the area of Neuro Rehabilitation The Royal Hospital Donnybrook (RHD) provides rehabilitation services to adults under the direction of both rehabilitation and older persons consultants.
The neuro-rehabilitation specialist service is primarily based on our stroke and neuro rehabilitation wards, but also extends into other areas of the hospital (such as general older persons rehabilitation).
The hospital is a voluntary, charitable organisation.
The Royal Hospital Donnybrook (RHD) is a teaching hospital for University College Dublin (UCD).
We have a strong culture of service and professional development through practice education, quality improvement, research and audit.
Essential criteria for a Clinical SpecialistDietitian in RHD: A professional dietetic qualification recognised by the Department of Health.
Registration on the Dietitians register maintained by the Dietitians registration Board at CORU.
5 years full-time post-qualification clinical experience, of which 4 must be consecutive in the required area of specialism with a proven record of excellence.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
