Junior Civil Engineer Location: Greater Dublin About the Role We are proud to be representing a well-established contractor in the civil engineering and construction sector who are seeking to hire a Junior Civil Engineer.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with local groundworks experience, particularly with a strong focus on documentation, reporting, and compliance.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of projects across Ireland while developing their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing, maintaining, and reviewing project documentation and reports Support senior engineers and project teams in day-to-day operations across civil projects Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality, and safety requirements Contribute to site inspections, surveys, and technical data collection Provide administrative and engineering support to ensure smooth project delivery Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues in a professional manner Experience & Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification) Minimum 2 years' experience delivering civil engineering projects in Ireland Prior local groundworks experience is essential Strong focus on documentation, compliance, and reporting accuracy Knowledge of infrastructure and general civil engineering practices an advantage Proficient in MS Office and relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, etc.) desirable Excellent communication and organisational skills Fluent in English (written & spoken) Project Portfolio Successful candidates will gain exposure to a wide variety of civil engineering projects, such as: Roadworks & active travel schemes Energy and renewables infrastructure Educational and healthcare campuses Airports (airside & landside) Urban parks, greenways, and public realm works Ports, fuel storage, and utilities What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Hands-on experience across diverse Irish infrastructure projects Career development and mentoring from senior engineers Career growth within a dynamic and supportive environment Skills: Documentation & Reporting Groundworks Knowledge Compliance Awareness Technical Support Organisation & Time Management Communication Skills Benefits: Car
