About the RoleAt Tate the need to support our key stakeholders with the right level of product and installation information is key to retaining and growing our future business and with that an exciting new role has opened up to spearhead this new function within our Global Marketing team.
We are looking for an experienced leader to develop and execute the strategy starting in Europe and then globally as to how best to deliver key training courses and material on our Tate solutions.
While our primary need is ceilings, the role will evolve to include the full suite of products across our range and regions.
Your experience as an engaging trainer, who can simplify the most complex of key learnings, will be pivotal in offering real value to key stakeholders and also understanding the practical approach for developing the required content.
The individual not only is a people person is also able to work independently and collaboratively across teams and across regions, taking the initiative as and when to accelerate the plan forward.
As a strong communicator which is the very essence of this role, they will be adept at working in a fast paced environment where multitasking and executing on deliverables is part of their nature.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Training Department Strategic DirectionLead the product training department strategy across markets and product sets in line with business priorities.Working collaboratively with the EU engineering teams, gather insights to evolve a best practice solution.Build the team and infrastructure in order to execute on the plan.Monitor the performance and share insights with the senior leadership team on the impact of training in line with KPI's.Product Training Programme DevelopmentWork collaboratively across the digital marketing and insights, as well as sustainability, commercial, manufacturing and engineering teams.Lead the workflow ensuring materials, manuals, documents and assessments produced are in accordance with our marketing compliance policies, in the required languages and as per our Tate brand guidelines.Implement and manage an effective document storage process ensuring internal and external training documents are readily availableDelivery of trainingConduct engaging and effective training sessions for both new and existing customers, ensuring Tate's product knowledge is thoroughly transferred to each participant in a means that best works for the customer either onsite, within Tate or online.Ensuring consistency of training material delivered as new trainers are onboardedUtilize various instructional methods, including hands-on training, workshops, and e-learning to cater to diverse learning styles.Support the roll out of our new Customer Experience centre in all regionsTechnical ExpertiseStay abreast of industry advancements and updates related to manufacturing equipment, product innovation, NPD and sustainability.
Working with our HR business partners, lead the development of internal product training materials best suited for the various internal teams.Provide technical support and guidance to employees, addressing queries and challenges effectively.Assessment and EvaluationImplement assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs.Measure the update and engagement of training.Create reports and feedback to the business proactively on training sessions.Gather feedback from trainees and continuously improve training content based on evaluations.
Qualifications, Experience & SkillsEducationBSc in Engineering or equivalent.Relevant certifications in training, instructional design, or leadership can be advantageous.Demonstrated commitment to staying updated on industry trends and incorporating best practices into training programs.
ExperienceExtensive experience in training and development roles, with progressive responsibility within the data centre or construction / manufacturing industry, with experience in a leadership or managerial role.Familiarity with the specific industry and understanding of the training needs within that context.
SkillsLeadership: Ability to lead and inspire a training team, set strategic direction, and drive performance but act as a self-starter will team is being developed.Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey training objectives, expectations, and feedback clearly to diverse audiences, as well as excellent attention to detail.Training Delivery: Proficiency in delivering engaging and impactful training sessions, both in-person and through various online platforms with flexibility to travel as and when required.Assessment and Evaluation: Skill in designing assessment methods to measure training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt training strategies based on evolving business needs and industry trends.Project Management: Ability to manage training projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.Collaboration: Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align training programs with organizational goals.Technology Aptitude: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools and technologies.
Be a leader in guiding the best adoption of the latest technological trends to best support the training material.
Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify training gaps and develop solutions, with a strong can - do attitude.Pace: Excellent time management and organization skills, and the ability to be flexible and creative while multitasking in a timely proactive way Stay connected with us on LinkedIn for insights into life at Tate.
