Overview
ACCPRO have partnered with a leading global insurance company to recruit an interim Head of Finance.
This will be an 18-month contract reporting into the CEO and responsible for the financial reporting function and team.
Responsibilities
Oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
Responsible for the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
Responsible for Solvency II regulatory returns
Manage and oversee the financial planning
Maintain a strong internal control environment
Monitoring the regulatory capital requirements
Manage the treasury activities
Manage cash flow and forecasting
Ensure compliance with all tax obligations
Produce and present reports for the Board and local Exec meetings
Raise awareness of financial issues across the business
Manage the relationship with external auditors
Lead and mentor the finance team
Ensure new portfolios are appropriately integrated
Requirements
Qualified accountant
Strong finance leadership experience - managing finance functions/teams/reporting
Experience reporting into group function and presenting to Board/Exec level
