Job Title: Qualified Accountant - Life Insurance Location: Dublin Working Model: Hybrid (2 days in office) Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant with Life Insurance experience to join our client, a global insurance advisor.
This role offers the opportunity to work with clients across Ireland, Europe, and North America on a variety of assignments, combining both technical reporting and project-based work.
Your Role Work with multinational life insurance clients on compliance, reporting, and advisory projects.
Support internal finance teams on financial reporting and operational requirements.
Provide accounting and reporting advice under IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP.
Contribute to finance transformation projects, including process optimisation and automation.
Develop strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Support, mentor, and coach junior team members where required.
Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed deadlines.
Your Skills Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
1-3 years' PQE with specific experience in the life insurance sector (practice or industry).
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP.
Understanding of current issues in the life insurance sector (e.g. IFRS 17).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
Ambitious, adaptable, and client focused.
Experience working with multinational environments is an advantage.
